• 2016-2019: Geomechanical modeling for diagnosis, evaluation, and management of sand production in offshore wells. COLCIENCIAS – ANH

Objective: to study the associated phenomena of sand production in offshore wells and develop a coupled numerical simulator with geomechanics to diagnose, evaluate and manage sand production.

Developed with GIGA THOR and GEOSAND software.

• 2013-2018: Geomechanical issues of heavy and extra heavy oil production and recovery. ECOPETROL – COLCIENCIAS

Objective: to study the geomechanical issues of heavy and extra heavy oil production and recovery and to develop a coupled geomechanical software.

• 2013-2015: A technical study of the productivity of the exploratory wells drilled by the exploratory department.  ECOPETROL

Developed with GENERAL SIMULATOR, NTS, and ATS software.

• 2015: A mechanistic model to study the water production and its impact on the productivity of Cupiagua field. EQUION ENERGY

• 2012-2015: A Geomechanical study of the formation damage and construction of a methodology to select wells for hydraulic fracturing in Cupiagua field. ECOPETROL
