Medellin is the second largest city in Colombia and capital of the department of Antioquia. Medellin is located in a valley surrounded by mountains in a central region of the Andes Mountains in South America, characterized by a pleasant climate of around 24°C, so it is called City of Eternal Spring. Medellin offers modern transport systems like Metro and Metro Cable with an efficient infrastructure. In 2013, Medellin was named the most innovative city in the world in the Wall Street Journal's City of the Year Contest. This city is always friendly to visitors.
